A Little Bit About Green Leaf
In 1980, Ted and Christine Huffman began Green Leaf in the Midwest as a sole proprietorship. Moving to Southern California in 1982, they became a leading tree and landscape service to the Inland Area for 16 years. In 1998, they brought the company to San Diego and incorporated 8 years later. Green Leaf Tree Care currently serves San Diego County and its surrounding areas.
Customer Service
With quality at the core of our business style, we have kept education in the green industry at the forefront for our crew members as well as for our clients. Cutting- edge research in standards for tree health and proper pruning is essential to our business philosophy, so that expectations and final results are the same for both worker and client.
Ongoing communication is also a vital aspect in the professionalism at Green Leaf. Honest and extensive evaluation of trees and property through both verbal and written communications, estimates and emails, are foundational to our customer service policy.
Customer needs have also driven us into new areas of diversification. We have initiated a Weed Abatement & Fire Clearance division to service both commercial property and private residential. We now offer Monthly Landscape Maintenance services, and we have also added Plant Health Care & Consultation to our list, to provide specialized care to our valued customers.
International Society of Arboriculture Certification
- Ted Huffman, CEO of Green Leaf Tree Care, Inc. is an ISA Certified Arborist (WE-2159A).
- Matthew Swanson is an ISA Certified Arborist & Certified Tree Worker (WE-8575A), (1857C).
- Ian Kesterson is an ISA Certified Tree Worker (1616C).
- Evan Yoder is an ISA Certified Tree Worker (1885C).
We provide certification for all of our tree climbers through the International Society of Arboriculture.
We are fully insured with Workmen’s comp and General liability. We are also licensed in the City of Del Mar, Coronado, Imperial Beach, and San Diego.
